We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Technical Office Engineer with an agronomy background, coupled with a good understanding of smart farming technologies.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the project team to identify and analyze agronomic requirements for various farming projects.

– Develop and implement technically sound solutions using smart farming techniques and technologies.

– Conduct field visits and assessments to evaluate crop health, growth, and yield potential.

– Provide technical support and guidance to farmers and project stakeholders in implementing smart farming practices.

– Assist in the design and installation of precision farming systems, such as sensor networks, data analytics, and remote monitoring.

– Perform data analysis to optimize planting, irrigation, and fertilization strategies based on gathered insights.

– Supervise and coordinate with sales and marketing teams.

– Develop and maintain project documentation, including crop progress reports and technical insights

– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agronomy and smart farming technologies, attending relevant conferences and workshops.

– Collaborate with the R&D team to provide feedback on product development and improvement based on field experiences.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

– Proven experience as a Technical Office Engineer or similar role, in the agricultural sector.

– Strong understanding of agronomy principles, crop science, and farming practices.

– Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies, such as IoT, remote sensing, data analytics, and GIS.

– Knowledge of smart farming tools and platforms, including precision planting, variable rate irrigation, and crop monitoring.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and utilize agronomic data effectively.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

– Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in smart farming.
