We are looking for a results-driven Sales and Marketing officer preferred to pre-work in the agribusiness

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.

– Identify and engage potential customers, including farmers, agronomy professionals, and agricultural organizations.

– Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and product training to educate customers on the benefits of our products and services.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and assistance.

– Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.

– Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors’ activities, and industry developments.

– Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and recommend product enhancements or modifications.

– Develop marketing plans and campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

– Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, websites, social media content, and advertising materials.

– Coordinate with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.

– Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our products and services.

– Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, providing regular updates to the management team.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

– Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Officer or similar role

– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

– Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.

– Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
